The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in the Sana’a government, Abdul Wahid Abu Ras, sent a message to the international community on Tuesday regarding the Saudi aggression on Sana’a Airport yesterday, Monday.Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:According to Saba News Agency, the message, which was addressed to both the Secretary-General of the United Nations and the President of the Security Council, and circulated to all UN member states, the President of the UN General Assembly, the European Union, the Special Envoy of the UN Secretary-General to Yemen, and the Foreign Ministers of Arab countries, affirmed that the Saudi raids on Sana’a Airport represent an extension of the ongoing aggression on Yemen since 2015.The message touched upon Riyadh’s procrastination and refusal to implement peace commitments and proceed with the roadmap sponsored by the Sultanate of Oman, as well as its refusal to reopen Sana’a Airport and address the humanitarian files associated with the peace process. The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs held Saudi Arabia fully responsible for the repercussions of the attack, affirming the inevitability of responding and lifting the siege imposed on Sana’a International Airport.Yesterday, Monday, Saudi Arabia launched a series of raids on the runway of Sana’a International Airport, in an attempt to prevent the arrival of the Iranian aircraft carrying the Yemeni delegation from Tehran, a step considered by Sana’a as a declaration of war, to which it responded by targeting Abha Airport and warning international airlines against crossing Saudi airspace.
