The Yemeni forces announced in a military statement by the official spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the execution of their first qualitative field operations following the announcement of the naval navigation ban on Saudi Arabia, targeting two Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea after they violated the ban, in addition to forcing about ten other ships to retreat and turn back.Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:The statement explained that the operation came within the framework of “breaking the unjust and brutal siege imposed by the Saudi enemy on the Yemeni people for 12 years, consolidating the siege-for-siege equation, and affirming the people’s right to confront tyranny and recover their wealth and legitimate rights.”Brigadier General Saree indicated that the armed forces targeted the two Saudi oil tankers “ENCELIA” and “LAYLA” with a number of ballistic, winged, and drone missiles, confirming that the strike was precise and caused a large fire to break out on them.The military spokesman added that in the same context, the naval forces managed to force approximately ten other ships to retreat and not complete their course in the banned areas.The Yemeni forces stressed “the continuation of their naval operations against the Saudi enemy” and the continued imposition of the “siege-for-siege” equation, vowing Riyadh an unprecedented response if it takes any escalatory action.The statement included a direct message to Saudi Arabia: “Any folly or aggression targeting our country will be met with large-scale operations in the depths of its territory, and the consequences will be dire for it.”The statement concluded by saluting the Yemeni people for their honorable and million-man turnout in the squares and arenas, affirming the armed forces’ commitment to continue their battle until all rights are recovered and the siege is completely lifted.
