The Israeli army intensified its attacks on various areas of southern Lebanon on Tuesday, without causing any casualties. Israeli warplanes launched an airstrike early Tuesday morning on the Litani River, below the Mar Mima Monastery in the town of Deir Mimas in the Marjeyoun district. They also carried out two separate airstrikes targeting the area between the towns of Tayr Harfa and Majdal Zoun, southeast of Tyre.
The town of Mansouri and the Wadi Hassan area, located on the outskirts of Tayr Harfa, southeast of Tyre, were also targeted, coinciding with widespread bombings in Mansouri and Majdal Zoun. The town of Markaba in the Marjeyoun district was subjected to artillery shelling, coinciding with the movement of Israeli military vehicles within the town.
The town of Ainatha in the Bint Jbeil district was also subjected to artillery shelling, as was the town of Bani Hayyan, coinciding with the movement of Israeli military vehicles within the town and the rising smoke resulting from bulldozing and burning. The death toll from the Israeli war on Lebanon, from March 2nd until yesterday, Tuesday, has risen to 4,350 dead and 12,310 wounded.
