Sana’a — Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:The President of the Supreme Political Council in Sana’a, Mahdi Al-Mashat, affirmed on Tuesday that the strikes of the Sana’a forces toward Saudi Arabia are “wise and rightful,” and that their goal is “to force Saudi Arabia to end its aggression and siege, and if they harm or benefit others, that is not our concern.”Al-Mashat said in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that “the nearest solution is to end the Saudi aggression and siege on our country,” noting that “the battle today aims to end the Saudi aggression and siege for twelve years, restore our national wealth, and expel every occupier from our land.”He directed a message to Riyadh saying: “The wise among those involved in the invasion of Yemen is the one who hastened to leave it before it is too late,” affirming that “the policies of the Saudi regime stood in the face of the major national milestones, and worked to weaken the state and prevent Yemen from investing its resources and wealth.”Al-Mashat explained that “the Yemenis are before a historic opportunity to consolidate the national project and build a strong and just state away from dependence on abroad or subordination,” stressing that “Yemen is concerned with confronting the Saudi regime until it ends its aggression and siege on our country, and striking its mobilizations with the aim of preventing it from achieving its goal of occupying our country.”He touched on the Saudi accusations of targeting Medina, saying that “the Saudi regime’s repetition of its fabrications about targeting Medina expresses a state of incapacity and failure, and its movement according to Zionist schemes,” holding Riyadh “full responsibility for any aggression against the sanctities or an attempt to pin it on the Yemeni people.”
