French authorities concluded the dispute over the fate of Strasbourg terror attack suspect, northeastern France, by announcing his burial on the French soil. The information was confirmed by Akher Akhbar Al-Alsace Newspaper in its Saturday edition, quoting unnamed official sources, a decision that came after Algerian authorities refused to receive the corpse of Cherif Chekkat. Cherif Chekkat’s family called upon the Algerian authorities to bury his corpse in Algeria, as his parents are Algerians, but this request was officially refused by the Algerian authorities, which used to reject the reception of the terrorists’ corpses. The manner in which the accused of the Strasbourg attack was liquidated has left many questions, because the French police deliberately killed the suspect in a way that gave the impression that Paris was keen to destroy information that could have been revealed if he was arrested and brought to justice.
