The General Committee of the General People’s Congress (GPC) in Sanaa has announced the dismissal of Ahmed Ali Abdullah Saleh, son of the late former president, from his leadership position as the party’s third deputy chairman. He had been appointed to the post years ago but never carried out his duties from the party’s headquarters in the capital.
