On Monday, the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Observatory sent an urgent invitation to the International Red Cross to visit the two Palestinian doctors, Hussam Abu Safiya, director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, in the northern Gaza Strip, and Marwan Al-Hams, director of field hospitals in the Strip, who were detained in the prisons of the Israeli enemy. Before being killed under torture. The observatory called, in a statement, the International Committee of the Red Cross, to intensify its urgent efforts with the Israeli enemy authorities, to immediately reach and visit the two doctors, “Abu Safiya” and “Al-Hams”, and visit them at their places of detention. He confirmed the existence of reliable information about a serious deterioration in their health conditions as a result of severe torture, including frequent beatings and deprivation of medical care, amid serious fears of being killed under torture in the prisons of the Israeli enemy and investigation centers. The Euro-Mediterranean called on the international community to take urgent and effective action to ensure the immediate and unconditional release of the two doctors, “Abu Safiya” and “Al-Hams”, and to protect their physical and psychological integrity.
