Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:Prominent leaders in the Sana’a government directed several messages to fighters in the ranks of Saudi-backed forces, during a broad meeting in Hodeidah governorate, according to Saba news agency.The attendees called on those they described as the “misled,” referring to fighters in the ranks of Saudi-loyal factions’ mobilizations, urging them to “quickly seize the opportunity to return to the homeland’s embrace and neutralize themselves from the occupiers’ agendas.”The governor of Hodeidah in the Sana’a government, Abdullah Attifi, affirmed during the meeting that betting on the Saudi and its tools will only lead to loss, stressing that the rights and property of the people of the Hays and Al-Khawkhah districts are protected, and that establishing the proof and calling for the prevention of bloodshed stem from a national and religious responsibility, affirming “full readiness for the people of Tihamah to support the fronts with men and equipment.”For his part, the Deputy Minister of Interior, Major General Abdulmajid Al-Murtada, explained during the meeting that “the Saudi regime is in a state of confusion and is seeking to employ its mercenaries as a spearhead and fuel for its battles,” stressing that Riyadh is mired in protecting its interests and will not hesitate to abandon its tools as field equations change.Al-Murtada affirmed that their forces “are proceeding with steadfastness to secure the entitlements of the Yemeni people,” and to confront any escalation according to the “escalation-for-escalation and siege-for-siege” equation until the siege is fully broken, national wealth is restored, and sovereignty is consolidated.
