Exclusive — Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:The fronts of Al-Maqatirah District, north of Lahj Governorate, witnessed new field developments, with the expansion of the scope of the Sana’a forces’ advance, and the joining of large numbers of the sons of the Al-Zariqah and Al-Maqatirah tribes to their ranks and their support in the field advance, in conjunction with accelerating collapses and retreats among the ranks of the Saudi-backed forces.Field sources reported that large numbers of the sons of the tribes in Al-Maqatirah joined the Sana’a forces, and provided them with support and backing during their advance in a number of positions, while the information indicated the existence of cooperation by a number of the sons of the villages, and their contribution to facilitating the movement of the forces across multiple routes and axes.In a remarkable development, reports spoke about the surrender of an entire military battalion itself to the Sana’a forces on the Tur Al-Baha axis, after a siege was imposed on it that lasted for hours south of Al-Maqatirah District, and the inability of the Saudi warplanes to break the siege and secure its withdrawal.Simultaneously, field sources affirmed the continuation of the Sana’a forces’ advance and their securing of strategic positions on the fronts south of Al-Maqatirah, noting their reliance on movements and flanking from several axes, which coincided with a state of confusion and retreat among the ranks of the Saudi-loyal mobilizations. On the level of human losses, the information reported the arrival of large numbers of dead and wounded among the ranks of the Saudi-loyal forces to Tur Al-Baha Hospital, amid the hospital’s overcrowding with cases and its inability to accommodate more of the injured. These developments come as an extension of the field advances witnessed by the Al-Maqatirah and Al-Mudaribah fronts during the past hours, where the Sana’a forces had launched an attack from the two axes of Zariqat Al-Sham and Lower Al-Mudaribah, which pushed the forces of the Tur Al-Baha axis led by Abu Bakr Al-Jabouli, and the forces affiliated with the leader Jamil Qamari, to withdraw from several positions toward Tur Al-Baha.
