Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:The Eye of Humanity for Rights and Development Center held a press conference today, during which it revealed a massive toll of victims and losses caused by the Saudi-American “aggression” and the siege imposed on Yemen for 12 years.The center explained that the total number of civilian victims of the aggression and siege exceeded 61,010, including 24,728 martyrs and 36,282 wounded.It revealed that the number of child martyrs exceeded 4,365, with more than 5,578 others injured, while the number of female martyrs reached more than 2,653, with 3,351 women injured.In a parallel humanitarian tragedy, the center reported that 120,000 patients died due to the inability to travel abroad for treatment, as a result of the closure of Sana’a Airport and the imposition of the air siege, while 1,200,000 patients are still in dire need of travel for treatment. More than 46,000 women have also died due to malnutrition and complications of the siege, out of 1,800,000 women suffering from malnutrition in Yemen.On the economic front, losses in the oil and gas sector exceeded $123 billion, while oil and gas revenues looted by the coalition amounted to more than $10 billion.Losses in the agricultural sector exceeded $147 billion, while foreign trade losses exceeded $64.7 billion.In the destruction toll, the center reported that the aggression destroyed 623,149 homes, 476 hospitals and health facilities, 1,497 schools and educational facilities, in addition to targeting 16 airports, 17 ports, 491 power stations and generators, and 3,605 water tanks and stations, documenting one of the most heinous war crimes in modern times, which has left Yemen in the worst humanitarian crisis the world has witnessed.
