Hamas confirmed, on Sunday evening, that the airstrikes carried out by the criminal Israeli occupation forces on the campus of the Islamic University in Gaza City constitute a clear war crime and are part of the ongoing campaign of extermination that has lasted for more than three years.
In a press statement, they said that the criminal enemy government continues its blatant violations of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, escalates killings and bombings, carries out daily raids on residential neighborhoods, displaced persons’ tents, and civilian institutions, seizes more land by moving the yellow line westward, and prevents essential food supplies from entering, ignoring its obligations under the agreement and the efforts of mediators and guarantor countries and their commitments.
Hamas called on mediators and the guarantor countries of the agreement to fulfill their responsibilities, intervene immediately, and put pressure on the occupation to stop its ongoing crimes against civilians, lift the blockade, and provide aid to more than two million people who are facing daily starvation and killing.
